October 6, 2008
It’s going to be a delicious evening at the newly refurbished Waco Hilton. This Thursday from 6:00-8:30pm, join the Central Texas Chapter of the Wine Society of Texas as we get together and enjoy two scrumptious wines.
Nieto Reserva Malbec -  A deeply-colored, powerful red with great concentration of berry fruit. Complex flavors of plums, figs, and dried fruit with a smoky vanilla character. Juicy fruit and great balance on the finish. Grown in the Mendoza Valley of Argentina, often called the “New Napa Valley.”
Los Vascos Cabernet Sauvignon – An attractive ruby in color with a very red fruit nose and some chocolate and bay leaf touches. Highly concentrated with strawberry & cherries fruit notes and marked spices. Persistent and balanced. Grown in the Colchagua Valley in Chile, an area named “Wine Region of the Year.”
