Next Event: “Sunset Champagne Cruise”

Our next Wine Society event will be our popular “Sunset Champagne Cruise” on Friday, June 20th.

At 6:30pm we will board Leonard & Debbie Christianson’s boat on Lake Waco and make way for an evening of fun, food, music and sparkling wine.

What: Champagne at Sunset on the Barge

When: Friday, June 20

Time: Arrive at 6:30 and leave at 7:00

 Wine: 4  Sparkling Wines will be provided to taste only. (Wines to be Announced) Please bring your favorite international wine to drink as well. 

 

Price: $35 for Members and $45 for non-members.  Membership must be active. A limited number of tickets are available at The Grape beginning on Tuesday, June 3rd.

Tehuacana Creek: May 14, 2008

Our Next event will be on Wednesday, May 14th at 6:30pm.

The event will be at Tehuacana Creek Vineyards on Highway 6, just a few miles outside of Waco.  We will feature four different local wines and food will be served buffet style.

THE WINES

• Flaminco – Their Popular sweet cherry wine.
• Blanc de Bois – A dry and crisp white wine with rich fruit in the style of a Pinot Grigio line, but smoother.
• Heart of Texas Red – A light and soft red wine made in the Chianti style. Highly recommended by the winemaker.
• Shiraz -(tasting notes not available)
• Harrison Plantation Port - A fruity Port with complex flavors of caramel and vanilla. Made from Black Spanish grapes blended with Nebbiolo, Malbec, and Cabernet Sauvignon. This is one of their flagship productions, and will be served with a dark chocolate.
